I got the complete series on dvd for Christmas. Just rewatched Season 6 and will rewatch Season 7 over the weekend. If I wasn't so damned busy, I'd watch an episode every day.

I don't think so. He was "The Master". He was evil and plotting etc. The UBER Vamps, if I remember correctly were suppose to be to vampires what neanderthals were to humans.
Then there was "The First" and he was just pure Evil. Couldn't take correapeal (sp?) form, but The First could assume the image of any dead person. I'm firmly planted in denial |

The first season was eh but it got better every season. The 6th season the writing, acting and everything was beyond top notch
