So...Did Ingmar kill Chandra Levy?

What do you think?

Without any forensic evidence, prosecutors based their case on two primary pillars. First, they argued, that Guandique preyed on women in Rock Creek Park and that the attack on Levy was part of a pattern. Guandique was convicted in 2002 of attacking two female joggers in the park about the same time Levy disappeared, and those joggers testified at the trial.

The second pillar was the testimony of one of Guandique's former cellmates, who was housed with Guandique when he was serving time for the jogger attacks. The inmate told jurors that Guandique admitted to him in 2006 that he killed Levy.

When asked about the lack of DNA and other science in the case, Norton said: "Well . . . there was a lot of evidence. . . .You know how much evidence there was, all kinds of evidence, and we were in a very small room with all of that evidence every day and we went through it in a very deliberate manner." She said the length of the deliberation was a direct result of the volume of that evidence.

I dont know...something in the pit of my stomach just...makes me feel like it didnt happen as it was said.

I think if someone says he killed someone, we should take him at his word and lock him up. wave

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

I guess so....although like the Norfolk Four where four people confessed to killing a woman (even where one had been in another state at the time)...fake confessions can happen...Im just saying...

I just had a weird feeling that all of a sudden they came up with him with his proximity of living area to the park and track record they didnt think about that in the beginning.

And before anybody jumps down my throat, let me clarify that I am not talking about coerced confessions. I am aware that such things happen. This guy's statements were made freely.

They were without any force?

By a detective or someone or officer? I mean really like said above..did he confess before or after the tales of the alleged confessions that people locked up stated he did.

Did he confess after those alleged confessions came from third parties or before?

Last, I dont see how they overlooked him ..living in the same area vicinity for so long. What did the other alleged escaped victims say about him?

If he did kill her, I want to know who paid him to do it.

Strange how her body just happened to turn up in the same place that the cops had previously searched and came up empty handed.

Whole case is twisted. Poor girl.

I'M NOT SAYING YOU'RE UGLY. YOU JUST HAVE BAD LUCK WHEN IT COMES TO MIRRORS AND SUNLIGHT!

I know...and the stories are kind of clonflicted..first they said her pants were tied at her ankles on the skeleton, he said he never raped her at all and only robbed her...and the rest of her clothing were tired up and bundled in a lake. Soemthing just is not correct....hmm....
