Does needing to have all my DVDs and CDs in alphabetical order count?

If so, yes.

That might come under the heading "anally retentive" though. hmmm

fussy doesn't mean tidy, it means you only like very specific things

which is me to a tee ( I mean the untidy part falloff )

Well I am not tidy, but I like things to match prefectly. I would feel extremly uncomfortable if I'd have to leave the house in an outfit that would not totally match. Am I fussy then?

On clothes, that is not fussy just common sense, anything else would be nonsense. CDs in order? WHY would anyone keep them disorgansed? Chocolate, good quality, FOOD in general good quality, wine also, spirits also. Don't drink cava when you can have champagne, life is too short. So yes I am fussy but only becasue there are people out there who dont get this, I see logic, but scruffy ass, disorgansied people who eat hershy kisses (and think they are "food" barf) and are happy drinking any old shit see it as fussy.

The problem for me is that most unfussy people are often more content with their life and happy.

Happy is he who finds out the causes for things.Virgil (70-19 BC). Virgil was such a lying bastard!

I write down my outfits so that I remember what matches best when I want to wear it again some day as I have so many outfits that I would not remember redface. I guess that's OCD lol. And I don't even know what OCD is lol.

I have my CDs in order too BTW.

i don't think so. i am usually not a problem when it comes to my tastes in things.

but, i was a problem over christmas because i can't eat wheat anymore and my entire family cooks with the stuff. it was sort of comical, and i probably looked fussy, as i ate only the toppings off the pizza and not the crust. no one laughed at me though

My in-laws think I am very fussy because they are from Argentina and I don't like Argentinian food, which I'm only ever given at their house. the funny thing is I eat everything else :-I

This may be my problem. I feel guilty being fussy. I was raised to accept everything I was given and be grateful because someone else is doing without. I wear clothes that are hand me downs from others that have nothing to do with me sometimes and don't necessarily make me feel good. As I have thrown out lots of stuff I keep saying
"Do you love it?" Throw it out if not. That makes me feel guilty. I feel guilty sending back a meal in a restaurant even.

There came a time when the risk of remaining tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom. Anais Nin.

Why did I think this thread was about something else? hmmm

I'm fussy about gifts I receive. I end up selling or just never using most things people give me. And that's because I never tell people what I want--which I don't like doing. I'm a strange bird, I admit.

If you give me a gift I take extra care, it has to fall apart or get too little before I even think about discarding it or replacing it. A family friend bought me a "boom box" twenty years ago and I recently had it fixed. The repair man was kinda teasing me about .... double cassette / Cd player and the cost of the repair but I didn't care.

I should plan a trip to Sydney since I know I already have a free ride on the monorail.

With clothes, yes. I will be in the middle of a project (like building a deck) and need more nails or something, I will change into a whole new set of clothes that is appropriate for public, before going to the store. The only person I know is more fussy (about clothes) than me is Prince.

99.9% of everything I say is strictly for my own entertainment
