Terrible babies!

This is just too cute! lol

A Pittsburgh hospital is showing its support for the Steelers in Super Bowl XLV this week by wrapping newborn babies in the yellow Terrible Towels.

Sharon Johnson, clinical supervisor at the hospital's Family Birth Center, told Patch.com that "They're born Steelers fans here in Pittsburgh." "She can choose her religion, but she can't choose what team she likes."

One father said. "It's pretty awesome," another father named Joe Laffey said. "I got a new baby and a new Terrible Towel. Couldn't ask for anything more."

I do believe that there is a trend happening in pro football. I really do think the Steelers are starting to replace the Cowboys as America's team.

I can take or leave either team...but I've noticed that the country is in Steeler fever. Since 2006 there has been a movement happening.

I think the story behind that is in the 70's Steve Sabol or one of those guys for

NFL Films approached Art Rooney as the Steelers started to win Super Bowls and

asked if he would like for the Steelers to be called America's team and Art told him

no the Steelers are Pittsburgh's team so guess who they approached next. lol

It's about winning. People really WANT to root for the Cowboys and still do overwhelmingly, but their inability to win in the playoffs and get to the SB is wearing people out. Despite the losing, they're still the biggest earning, most valuable franchise of any sport in this country and the Steelers, even with the SB wins ain't changing that.

Actually it's borderline abusive.

The sharp contrast between the lemon-yellow and black colors could impact the child's ability to correctly focus their newborn eyes.

Now...the Jets green & white is scientifically more beneficial to itty bitty babies.

Keep telling yourself that. comfort But...I'm starting to feel a little sorry for you Cowboy fans. Steelers are giving the 'Boys a run for their money. I'd have to look up your stats...(if I really cared) for the 2011 version. But like I said, I can take or leave either one so fan on Cowboys!

But I see that the Steelers have taken over as the team everyone loves to root for. They have support groups for Cowboy fans to deal with it. wink

rolleyes Chile, please. The FACT that they sell the most jerseys of any team, in any sport despite not winning or having any real stars tells me so. Local fans are not sustaining those numbers. Besides, I'm not that type of Cowboys fan, I'm one of their harshest critics, trust. But, as much as folks hate to acknowledge it, despite losing they're STILL the second most valuable (profitable) sports franchise in the WORLD second only to Manchester United. In comparison, the Lakers are 49th on that list. And the Steelers ain't even in the top 10.

And here, I looked it up for ya. thumbs up!

I'd assume the Cowboy fandom startss in states that have no pro football teams. That is a lot of states. So yeah I can see that. But either way... bored

Steelers have been making a climb for only a few years now, so if they keep it up, only time can tell. I always thought it was funny to call the Cowboys America's team. When the concept of a cowboy came from Mexico. If anything the Redskins should be the American team. Or even the Patriots...if you want to be technical about "America's Team" evillol
