I watched Jersey Shore for the first time last week. I struggled to get though 15 minutes and then turned it off.

And Snooki is one of the least attractive women I have ever seen...body, face, style...everything is gross. Actually, the other chicks were all chubby smashfaces as well. Actually, the dudes were too.

I haven't fallen prey to the Jersey shore craze yet, but it could be interesting for me to see a show about how other young Americans fare there when they visit Italy for the first time (particularly Italian-Americans); I used to live in Italy and it's always entertaining to watch American try to adjust to to culture and customs.

...as for the rest of your statement, if you don't like, don't watch, and don't participate in the threads about reality shows. If it's too low brow an entertainment form for you I'm sure you can find other entertainment forums where people discuss the works of Roald Dahl and Dorothy Parker.

Jersey Shore is freakin' awesome. Too funny. Deena is such a great addition to the cast, wayyyyyy more entertaining than Angelina ever was.

I like some reality shows, but this shit here is just giving New Jersey and its residents, present and former, a bad name. I was born and raised in New Jersey, and I don't even remember my Italian classmates acting like these assholes.

I don't really agree with that. I've been watching since Season 1 first started and it doesn't make me think any less of New Jersey and it's residents. Season 2 doesn't make me think any less of Miami either.

I think most people are smart enough to realize that the people on these shows are only a representation of themselves and not all the people that live in these areas.

It's coming to the UK too. Newcastle to be exact.

these kids mostly aren't even from jersey or italian. sam and ron are half. jwwow is irish/spanish. i heard pauly its's 100%. snooki is from chile adopted by italians. idk about the rest.

as for being FROM jersey. situation is 10 min from me in manalapan( ),sammi's from hazlet,deena's from new egypt. pauly's from rhode island and the rest are from new york....
