i love that print too. even though it's worn by prince, who's clearly a man, it looks like a gal could flaunt it too. with the right accessories to soften up the square front.

Shoooo...I did wear that outfit. Vogue Patterns had an Yves Saint Laurent design exactly like that around...geez...1976, I think? (It was part of his Russian-inspired collection back then.) I wore that in high school.

i tried for dreads. didn't knot up and destroyed my hair. so i gijaned it and it was scary looking. i'm certainly no halle barry and CANNOT pull off short hair.

I had a fashion sense in highschool that no one understood. I wanted to wear Vans, adidas shelltoes, skinny jeans or khakis, cardigans....stuff like that

but because I rarely bought clothes on my own (mom would always have my brother shop with me or even for me), it seemed I had the same TURRIBLE sense in clothes that my tacky ass brother had

I STILL despise Southpole jeans to this day
