It doesn't have to be clothes. The hair tragedy was good.

Well, yeah it's a nice print. I bet Genesia likes it too. As far as the cut, you're a woman right?
As far as clothing goes, unless folk are very conservative in their dress, everyone mis-steps now and then. Everyone.
Anyone who thinks they get it right every time is fuckin delusional. [Edited 1/24/11 16:54pm]

i love that print too. even though it's worn by prince, who's clearly a man, it looks like a gal could flaunt it too. with the right accessories to soften up the square front.

Shoooo...I did wear that outfit. Vogue Patterns had an Yves Saint Laurent design exactly like that around...geez...1976, I think? (It was part of his Russian-inspired collection back then.) I wore that in high school. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Fashion faux pas are for those who believe they are fashionable in the first place
I'm totally OUT of that equation I am a self-proclaimed DAG
as in: any unfashionable or non-stylish person

I would wear the print in a man's cut shirt. For example, I love Etro shirts (I just can't affor them )

Okay... okay!
I don't have any post-1990 evidence lying around... "Love Hurts. Your lies, they cut me. Now your words don't mean a thing. I don't give a damn if you ever loved me..." -Cher, "Woman's World"

yes you do! you're just barely hanging in there trying to be nice but the cracks are showing!!!
I know you abhor the mall-mom look!!!

Okay, so I went looking for the Yves St. Laurent pattern. I didn't find it - yet - but I did find my "nobody asked me to the prom but my mom made me this gorgeous dress anyway" pattern.

The I'm really an emo boy look is really particularly un-cute.
The hoodie? no.
The MySpace eyes? HELL no.
WTF am I thinking even posting this shit?
1. The baggy man pants. 2. THE BAGGY MAN PANTS! 3. The studded belt. 4. The helmet hair. 5. The finger. So rebellious, Erin.

I always feel kinda weird staring right at the camera, especially when taking the picture myself. The first picture isn't bad...

Although the "baggy" look may not suite you. You still look incredibly cute.

Finally, an admission.
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
I have honestly never seen a pic of you where I thought you looked bad. You were a little more excited about your leopard pants than I might have been, but they were not bad by any stretch of the imagination. Do you honestly think that I wouldn't say a thing, in spite of the tons and tons of love I have for you?

I had a fashion sense in highschool that no one understood. I wanted to wear Vans, adidas shelltoes, skinny jeans or khakis, cardigans....stuff like that
but because I rarely bought clothes on my own (mom would always have my brother shop with me or even for me), it seemed I had the same TURRIBLE sense in clothes that my tacky ass brother had
I STILL despise Southpole jeans to this day
[img:$uid]http://mediaext.djnetworks.net/media/595/749/files/5957496.jpg[/img:$uid]
I even had a light blue velour Fubu sweat suit I looked like I shopped with retired NBA players until I was a senior in high school "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

Dreads on white folk are usually tragic IMO. I've seen very few (very) that work.

it was a velour sweat suit......get this....
with short sleeves. the top wasn't a jacket, but a VELOUR T SHIRT
I get mad just thinking that I wore that shit to school "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."
