Moral Question

Pop quiz!

Okay, so you have a really passive/aggressive neighbor whom you suspect has been stealing your packages when they are mistakenly delivered to them instead of just placing them on your doorstep. Let's say you've gotten confirmation from a couple UPS/Fedex guys that they DID place the package on their door even tho your name/address is on the package.

One day, a package for said neighbor is left on YOUR door by mistake. Do you do the "right" thing and take their package to 'em or do you get gangsta with they bitchasses and enjoy a new, expensive coffee brewer during the cold, cold winter???

What would you do? hmmm

Yep.

I would've confronted their bitchesses from jump street when the first(or maybe the 2nd) package got stolen.

That way, they won't give themselves the chance to let me retaliate later.

First of all, get your butt over to University Park where you can drink in the 24/7 awesomeness that is SMU/Campisi's Pizza!

Two wrongs don't make a right.

UPS and FedEx have electronic records of who and WHERE they delivered any package, and you can confront the neighbor with irrefutable evidence. That ought to do it, huh?

highfive If there's no signature there's nothing they can do. I just happened to ask the drivers if they delivered to their house recently and they said yes but not signatures were obtained. confused

Give them their package, and ask for your back. Leave a note for UPS Fedex guys to NOT leave packages at their homes. Can you call the companies of the products you bought for re-funds?

Did you sign for their package?

No, I didn't sign for their package. Here, they just leave packages on the porch if a sig isn't required. This has been going on for 4 years. I've had several packages from Neimans, Nordstroms, etc. get mis-delivered even tho I beg the stores when I order something to request a signature. In their records they went to the right house so I have to file a claim with them or get replacement items from the stores.

Is your house number hard to see? Maybe bigger numbers or a different placement would help? Or are the neighbors stealing the packages from your porch?

If UPD doesn't require a signature and is going to the wrong house all the time, what is it that's making them get your house confused with another?

I think it's just laziness or working too fast. The numbers are clearly marked on all the houses. But it happens all the time. I've gotten their packages a few times too and dropped 'em off. But this one looks like it would make a great gift for one of my coffee drinking friends. lol

Give them their package, taking the chance to strike up a conversation about the UPS/Fedex guy's making such a silly mistake, at which point you can ask again if anything has been delivered for you wink

One minute they want peace……

Then do everything to make it go away. rolleyes

lol Chile give them folk that damned package! And use the exchange as an opportunity to strike up conversation and asked what they may have received for you, alerting them that you have been informed by UPS/Fed Ex that they've left things at the neighbor's door lol

It makes hot cocoa! Well, that's different let me think . . . whistling

Give your thieving neighbors there coffee, tea & hot cocoa machine. Tell them in the future when they recieve your packages, you'd like them to show the same curiosity of bringing your packages over to you promptly.

I'd give them their package.

I am curious how do you know for sure that the neighbors have your stuff since there was no signature required and only the delivery guys word?
