Top 5 Action/adventure:

1)Raiders of the Lost Ark

2)Aliens

3)Terminator Judgement Day

4)Lord of the Rings

5)The Dark Knight

To this day, I do not remember being in a theater more packed than the one I was at to see Terminator 2. I'm pretty certain it was illegal to have as many people as they had, standing in the back, sitting/standing in aisles...it was ridiculous.

I remember that-I think Lord of the rings was the same sort of thing. ( On second thought, they had more screens available for Lord of the Rings-So maybe not exactly the same pile up.)

"Pretty in Pink" (and many of the "Brat Pack" era films) were the best. I thought Duckie was cute. mushy Fucking Blane. lol I still think Andie should've picked Duckie. Duckie was the only guy that never turned his back on her when the chips were down. The end really screwed me up. I want a time machine so Duckie wouldn't have to be on "Two & a Half Men" with Charlie Sheen. lol

I think I have a video of this somewhere. I haven't seen it in years... will have to see if I still have it and watch it again.

biggrin The movie has such a strong 80's feel to it, and it just sucks me in.It's hard to explain.

I'm no math wiz, and not about to actually think right now, but were you alive in the 80s?

Please tell me I am not the only one who wants to do this to Dani every once in awhile:

I never liked Pretty in Pink. I was much more of a fan of 16 Candles and Breakfast Club.

But occasionally I do amuse myself by quoting Spader "the girl is nada."

I just saw a terrible movie with Demi Moore, where she played a singer and she sleeps with this kid who helps with her career.

I think Demi actually sings in this movie, and while she may be okay in her car by herself, she is painful to listen to, screeching caterwauling. shake
