I don't care who plays who as long as they do a decent job. Where I think the original Batman franchise went wrong was when they began stacking the movies with the rogues' gallery nearly all at once. It started with Batman Returns when they had the Penguin, Catwoman and Max Schreck all in the same movie. However, that was done masterfully compared to the steaming turds which followed. Batman Forever not only had the Riddler and Two Face but also introduced Robin at the same time, which I believe was trying to stuff too many characters into the storyline. And Batman and Robin was a huge mess, with not only Mr. Freeze being a one-dimensional character, but also having Poison Ivy and Batgirl in the same movie.

I like how Chris Nolan has done the reboot of the Batman franchise. He re-introduced Batman with his backstory plus Ras Al Ghul in Batman Begins, and he did a spectacular job with The Dark Knight with the Joker, and he handled Harvey Dent/Two Face really well. I would hope that he doesn't overstack the rogues' gallery with his next movie, though I believe Catwoman has already been cast, and it will primarily be about the Penguin. The Penguin should be it's own separate movie, followed by the Riddler, then the origin of Robin, followed by one of the remaining members of the rogues' gallery.

I really want to see Robin come back.
