Was he rumored to be in the running for a role?
I could see him as the Riddler, but only if they did the Riddler really dark and twisted. Also, although he doesn't really look like the comic book character, he's definitely got enough crazy to pull off the Ventriloquist.

For the OP (and the others using the common misspelling "villian")...
FYI - it is spelled VILLAINS
Sorry to interrupt. You can now get back to your Batman topic. |

"girl-next-door" Anne Hathaway?
She's very pretty (and I love her as an actress).. but I see/think of her, and I think 'girl'
not 'curvy, sexy woman'
She must have wowed them in auditions...
I hope it's good.
This made me so angry that I purposely didn't post it when I first read it. She's average looking at best (imo - I don't get the fascination with her or Tom Cruise's woman - can't remember her name ) and while she may be a good actress, she's never done anything to prove to me that she could play a convincing Catwoman. She's all smiley and up - blech!
I liked Keaton as Batman, but I like Bale, too. I don't think Kilmer or Clooney were terrible, either (just not as good as the other two). I'm fine with Batman changing like James Bond. This is Christopher Nolan's last Batman movie, so it's likely Bale will, uhh, leave after this one, too. But that doesn't mean they're going to stop making them, so at that point there will be another actor playing Batman. |

Oh, btw, Tom Hardy is the shit. Everyone should make an effort to see as many of the movies he's been in as possible OTHER than Inception and ST:Nemesis. |

Anne Hathaway wasn't all smiley and up in Rachel Getting Married.
What was your opinion of Heath Ledger getting the Joker role before seeing the movie? Many people thought he was a bad choice at first, no? |

I thought Anne Hathaway was excellent in Rachel Getting Married and in Brokeback Mountain. (She was too young to be playing middle aged at the end, but I consider that more the fault of the makeup department...her acting was still spot on.) |

Not really a heart of gold. She steals mostly because she loves fine things. I think some of the money goes to feed her 9,000 cats. You know how it is. And her fellow whores. I think she helps some of them out too. Oh, and I think she helps out the nuns who raised her. (Honestly, there was not one misogynist trope that Frank Miller did not employ when he rebooted her.) |

Honestly, haven't seen Rachel Getting Married. Haven't seen anything I've really LOVED her in, but most of her movies aren't really my thing, anyway. However, pretty much all the movies I have seen her in, at one point or another, she's been all happy, shiny people, flashing that oversized set of chompers. I just can't picture her as Catwoman at all. |

I don't care about his looks as far as being hot goes. In fact, I've always thought his face looks a little broken. I had a hard time accepting him on screen after ST:Nemesis. I don't like him in that part, don't think he looked, sounded or acted like Picard and I'm still bothered by the fact that TNG was given such a shitty send-off. Thankfully the way the stories have continued on in the books MORE than makes up for it. Anyway, digression... So I love Layer Cake, and Tom is good in that. A little forgiveness. Somebody gave me a heads up about Scenes of a Sexual Nature, so I gave it a watch. Not only was he good in it, but it was something TOTALLY different than I'd seen him do before. More forgiveness. Then I saw Bronson. Genius! Total forgiveness. By the time I saw Inception I was pretty much able to accept him as an actor, not just as the guy who didn't look, sound or act like Picard in an unfortunately shitty ST movie. He's done some other good stuff along the way, but I'd definitely recommend people see all three of those if you haven't already (not just for him, either - they're just good movies). |

Maybe it´s Huntress from Earth2 who keeps sending you those cards.
