Oh trust me, I'm ALL for dark/tongue in cheek. This is why I was excited he was hosting again. He just seemed to fall flat a lot last night IMO. And the crowd didn't seem to be as into it with him as in other shows.
One of his best jokes barely made it in, at the end when he thanked God for making him an atheist. | |

Chris Colfer winning for Glee was my favorite moment of the evening. From his genuinely shocked face in his seat to the realization that he actually won to his short little speech that managed to be gracious, witty and inspirational all at the same time. I even teared up a bit. |
