Can you set a tab or margin in Gmail? I want some figures to line up (dollar amounts), but they're not at the left margin. e.g.:
Blah blah blah $100.00 blah blah $150.00 blah $175.00
Surely there's a way to have the dollar-signs aligned?

I can't find a way to do it.
How about if you type it up in word or something and then paste it?

Gmail, as I understand it, accepts Plain Text, Rich Text, and HTML fomattings.
Under HTML, I think you can use < Table > stylings to make columns. Might be a headache to get created, but you might be able to get a system going. Do not forget to add cellpadding to make it pretty. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Still it's nice to know, when our bodies wear out, we can get another -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
