links to org threads don't work... a glitch in the Matrix...

you but url in front and /url at the end just like you do for a pic where you put img in front and /img at the end of lilnk. No glitch

I'm a Web Developer -- and Admin at another forum site...
You never have to use the [url] BBCode (a simplified version of HTML) at all.. Simply typing one space after any URL makes it active in a message board/forum. ~ That live links to prince.org URLs redirect to the wrong thread means something is wrong on the back-end. When folks don't use the url or the img then the link does not work, goes somewhere else. I know this, I've had to fix folks links

~ if instructions are provided, they can fix their own stuff with the 'Edit' link under their post...
The code for [url] and [img] are two totally different functions so they don't work the same; [img] tags are always necessary b/c it has to display the image from another site on your site... the [url] code is never necessary b/c the hyperlink is inherent.. All one has to do is remember to type one space after the end of a URL when they post it in a forum and it becomes a live link.
I haven't had to use those [url] tags here, ever, b/c it is simply not necessary; it is supposed to be optional, it is supposed to work without it. -- and it does work perfectly fine when you post the URL for any other website, so.. why doesn't it work for .org URLs? Do you guys have any techies on staff that could check the back-end code for bugs? Or, if this is hosted by a 3rd party, notify them so it can be fixed.
I have not used [url] tags to make the following 2 links live; I only typed one space after the end of each URL to make them live. You should be able to see that I haven't used BBCode (the [url] tags) if you hit the Mod-level Edit button for this post:
** Note: typing only LatinPopShop.com will not work b/c you do need the subdomain (the " www. " section) as part of a complete URL in phpBB-type forums.
However, the main issue or concern among many users is the fact that no matter what .org URL we post, it ends up going to that Dennis Rodman thread -- that alone indicates that something is not working properly and needs to be fixed (you know, as soon as humanly possible...
