Watches....

the bracelet on my face watch broke...it looks like this...

for what i paid for it at the fossil outlet store, ($40 us), a new band would cost $27, plus shipping.

I love this watch. the face is actually purple, which is my favorite color.

so...i went out and got a new watch...also fossil..

how about you...is a watch a necessity for you (it is for me)...is it a fashion thing, or just something you put on day in day out?

what does YOUR watch look like?

I use to have to have a watch on, but now no.

I love them, I just don't want to be bothered.

My husband L.O.V.E.S. watches. He has a bunch of them and is always looking for his next watch.

ZombieKitten

with my first tax return I went out and bought a $500 watch

WHY?!?!?!?! confuse I could have got a CAR for that err duh

I still have it though, and it still works great (lifetime guaranteed) nearly 20 years later.

It's a tissot, similar to that first watch you posted, silver band and blue face, but ladies size.

I've tried & tried to get myself to wear one but that never even lasts a day, they just irritate me. and I don't mean in an allergic kind of way, they just suffocate my wrist.

"what's that book where they're all behind the wardrobe?"

I have a gold rotary - my parents bought it for me for my 50th birthday - I cried when I got it as it is the most expensive present I have ever had.

I prefer very simple watches to those that look like airplane cockpits. I generally don't wear one at all, though. Here's mine, but it's been almost 10 years since I've used it...

Last watch I wore for any amount of time was 1980ish ( a swatch ? ) ... I dont enjoy wearing them at all really

I have a really good internal clock and it's not often far off more than 5 minutes ...I trust that

everything has a clock anyway ~ car ~ cell ~ they are everywhere

Love them. Own then. Wear them. Even if you have a cell phone, when you're wearing a watch all you have to do is turn your wrist to see what time it is. Hands free, ya know? lol Plus, I think it's about the only kind of jewelry/accessory men can wear that looks stylish.

Me too.

Lately I've even used my phone as my alarm clock rather than the traditional alarm clock.
