81 Degrees and counting . . . What's the weather in your neck of the woods? Man, I LOVE winters like this. It gets cold for a few days but then we can count on 60-70 degrees every few weeks. Today, it's 81 and we may break the record of 82.
By Xmas it will be in the 40s during the day and 20s at night. Fuck that snow shit we had last year.
What's it like where you are? [Edited 12/21/10 12:26pm]

It's probably around 70 degrees and it has given me a sinus headache from hell. For the last week or so, it has been mink coat weather and now it's not even cold enough for a jacket.
Dammitt, get cold and stay cold. The colder the better. I guarantee there won't be no cold days in the hell-a-cious summers we have so don't ruin the winter with warm days. Andy is a four letter word.

Scotland's currently going through one of the coldest winters on record. It's around -17 where I am at night, barely breaking past -8 in the daylight. Airports are closed, roads shut off, country's basically in lock down. Our transport minister was even sacked last week - Scots need someone to take the blame, even for bad weather.

Ex-Moderator | Currently 22 degrees (-5.6 to you celsius types) and yesterday and today are a warm spell compared to what it's been. We've already had single digit weather. Mid 20's is average for this time of year here but it's been way, way colder. We got 17 inches of snow the weekend before last and another 5 inches yesterday into today and we're expecting more tomorrow.
It's going to be a long, cold winter in Minne. |

December has been one of the hottest on record here, today its officially 85f (28c) degrees with unofficial highs reaching 90f(32c), (Usual December highs are 72 (22c)), and this is in the southern hemisphere. Our summers may seem cold, but they are balanced out by our very mild winters, coldest night in Auckland this year was 3c (37f) and usual winter daily high is 55 -60 (13-16c), coldest highs are 11. We only ever had snow in 1939, and now they are disputing if it was actually a hail storm as it was 12c (54f) when this so called 'snow' fell. Our summer usually peaks in February rather than December. Mostly cloudy now with temperature around 26 or 27 (80f), Christmas sees a cool change to highs in the low 20s (70f) and night lows of 14 -15 (56=60f), great I will be able to sleep again. We get a lot of hailstorms, downpours and then weeks of dry weather in our summers and the humidity is about 80% so it always feels like 100f here. So what are u going 2 do? R u just gonna sit there and watch? I'm not gonna stop until the war is over. Its gonna take a long time

we've had the most unbelievably shit weather these last few days in Melbourne, we had to put the central heating back on! 6-8°C overnights

It sounds a lot like Auckland in June, we get days with highs of 55-65 and sunny periods by short heavy bursts of rain that drench everything and then the sun comes out again. Its annoying. I feel your pain, I know you would rather love some of that snow. So what are u going 2 do? R u just gonna sit there and watch? I'm not gonna stop until the war is over. Its gonna take a long time

By the way I love Melbourne (Even more than Sydney) So what are u going 2 do? R u just gonna sit there and watch? I'm not gonna stop until the war is over. Its gonna take a long time
