Weirdness with Google/YouTube, this morn. Is my security compromised? This morning, when I went to YouTube, it told me that I now had to link my YT and Google accounts (I'd been hitting 'Remind me later' before). Long story short:
Entered my password, but then I couldn't get onto YT (essence of browser message 'This will never complete'). Eventually went in through a back door and everything seemed to be okay (had to sign back into YouTube, I think, though).
Fastforward to when I got to work:
My Google shit (Calendar, Gmail) now has this in my Chrome's address bar:
I "linked" the accounts on my laptop, at home, and I'm now on a Windows 7 desktop, at work. I just connected to an XP here (via the Windows 7) and went to the same pages, also with Chrome and I'm not having the issue there.
What up with that?!

A regular, computer restart has (seemingly) solved the problem.
Thanks for your contributions, everybody! | |
