Comic fans! Pics of the new Captain America and Spider-Man movies!

The Spider-Man one is really, really good and making me excited for this reboot, which I wasn't too geared up for before.

Chris Evans as Captain America:

Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man:

I really like the Cap costume

that one could have ended up very cheesey

they've done a fantastic job with it, imo

the spidey pic is amazing

like Peter Parker come to life

How is it you feel?

I'm still not wild about the Cap costume. Maybe it'll look better to me onscreen, though.

The Spider-Man pic reminds me of that picture of Heath Ledger as the Joker that circulated before The Dark Knight came out. Got people really excited to see the movie. If this new movie goes darker than the Tobey Maguire movies, I'll be totally fine with that.

I like it because it has a military feel to it

they made good use of the webbing and straps

it looks practical and useful for a soldier

more of a utility uniform than a costume

How is it you feel?

The Spidey pic is awesome too. Looking at it reminds me of McFarlane's version.

Is there a link for these?

I hate Fincher more than any director. But I like Nolan's vision quite a bit.

Nevertheless, I disagree that everything has to be dark to succeed. The first three Spider-Man films definitely didn't. But I'm glad this new one is going to distance itself from the previous ones (or at least that it appears that it's going to).

Patrick Stewart would make a cool vulture. But he's already Professor X, so it might be weird.

I'd like to see Electro in a movie too (but with a better costume).

Kraven! I forgot about him. Yeah, he was cool. I used to love the comics where the superheroes would get kidnapped and forced to partake in a contest for their very survival, like Spider-Man getting hunted in a jungle by Kraven or the X-Men having to escape from Arcade's madhouse, etc. So good.

I like the spidy suit, but it's cause I like this actors form. I always pictured spidy as more lean and toned than muscle.

I was gonna mention it in my first post, but I decided to be classy instead. It was very unlike me.

i think Toby was fine too. but i agree he should be kind of skinny... but i think superman should be too. why would he be big? he has super strength so he has no need for big muscles. How would he work out to get them?

(I also want to see a superman movie with 2 actors. In which superman can morph into clark by pure facial muscle control)

I could always see a BatMan re-make, but Spider-Man 2 was just too good or 3 was rubbish but and 1 was a good start.... really can't see how they are going to beat Spider-Man 2?

The acting, story action was just too good?confused
