Nocturnal Emissions Ace's recent erotic dream thread cues a question I've wondered about for some time. And first off, because this is the org, I can see the insanity coming from a mile away.
In the meantime, I don't know where else I could ask this...
According to (debatable) research by Alfred Kinsey in 1948, 83% of male Americans will experience nocturnal emissions sometime in their life. I, however, have never had one, nor do I know anyone -- of any age -- who's mentioned ever having one. Now I don't assume I know the complete sexual history of every guy I've met, but I'm wondering: Do you all think the 83% stat is accurate? Have you heard/experienced/etc. anything that suggests wet dreams are that common? [Edited 1/6/11 8:28am] Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

I had a few in my teens; actually I think I had my first one at about 12.

Same here. Don't remember age or how often, but I'd say a few around those years.

I think you're officially the first person I know who's ever had a wet dream. [Edited 1/6/11 8:24am] Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

I had one in my early 20s. I was kind of surprised by it, because it had been a while. None since then.
