it's summer here... but the sun is hiding in the clouds... so my tan is taking for ever

so i've been veging out, shopping, gardening, spring cleaning... shit like that

but what does the rest of the world do when the sun is in the clouds?????

I hate being cold, so I don't hang around outside for longer than I have to.

In an ideal world, i'd play computer computer games and have friends over and have parties all the time.

In the real world, I wrap up warm and take the kids on walks in the forest and stuff like that.

cooking/baking with friends and family (but I guess that's year-round)

movies; home, or @ the theatre

- I don't mind the cold at all, so I'm up for a walk in it.. even when it's snowing

I've always wanted to go skiing and stuff, but I'm very accident-prone..

I still have a small scar from a high school hockey game during gym class.. 'Crazy Shirley' and I both went for the puck, but she swung up high and clocked me right between my eye and eyebrow...

I went down, hard ~ and then home when my mom came to pick me up from the nurse's office..

I roast chestnuts on an open fire.

We don't really have winter in Houston. So we pretty much do the same stuff all year 'round.

But right now, I'm on a mountain in New Mexico. All by myself. And by that, I mean I have the house AND pretty much the ski mountain all to myself.

AND I AM BORED OUT OF MY MIND.

Thank goodness I only have one more day of this.

i love going for walks with my kids... and parties r ok

u can always organize spur of the moment parties - they always turn out better than planned ones

I don't do a lot of anything in the winter except for a whole lotta hibernating. I like lounging around with my blanket and watching a lot of movies. That's pretty much it.
