Researched it. 1st one was a 4. and centered in Dublin/San Ramon. 10 min from my house. I'd say the 2nd was a 4.5 -5.

I hope thats it. My bird is still acting funny sad

I got used to earthquakes living in Hawaii. They are quite common out there, and the only ones that cause a stir are the ones that are above 6.5 or so...

It's really just the earth doing it's thing...it's definately not Earthquake the movie.

I agree that what happened in the Bay area is a reminder of what could happen...that would get me jittery living/working in a city unprepared - if there even is such a thing.

hug for Berry.

Thanks Lav. I'm fine. It's just that we are on the San Andrea Fault Line. And the big one we had in ('86?) I watched a football field "ripple"... and then part of the Bay Bridge collapsed and the Cypress Fwy collapsed... many died. So I can't help but always wonder, "what's this one going to do?"

Damn, that's what I miss about living in the bay area :the earthquakes" I always found them fun for some reason, guess it's all the excitement or something. I was in the bay area when they had the big quake in 89, my whole family was scared shitless, but not me.

There was a small one last year that could be felt in Indianapolis. At the time, I didn't realize what it was... I just wondered why my car was rocking from side to side while I was stopped at a red light.
