drives me nuts on tuesdays thursdays and saturdays...every week, unknown name and number.
Those are either bill collectors or telemarketers. Just pick up the receiver and hang up, OR when someone announces themselves as either a marketer or collector, blow a whistle as hard as you can into the mouthpiece of the phone. That'll bust out an eardrum!

Chile, years ago I was going with guy whose mother just adored me. She would call sometimes just to chat. Mind you, this was back in the day before caller ID and such. One day the phone rang, and I just knew it was a bill collector, so I had my whistle at the ready. I picked up the phone and blew that whistle to kingdom come and back. Next thing I hears was, "Girl! What is the world are you doing??!" It was my man's mother.

I love unexpected visits better than planned ones! Then I don't have to clean up they can take it as it comes, and if hanging around for dinner, I will always suggest takeaway, Thai or Japanese since if only I'm the only one who wants it I never get to have it

I just don't care, show up whenever. Hell, I don't have to be there, we have an open door policy literally. We've never locked the doors of our homes, come on in. Now someone gonna come in and take all of our shit. |

people, it's pretty simple. don't let the drawbridge down on your moat. that way, people can't even reach the front door, let alone knock on it.
those alligators in that moat of yours are pretty fierce too. |
