My friends and family know that I don't like surprise visitors and respect that When I am staying with my bf we are lucky that we live so far away from the next house that it is too much of an effort for anybody to just show up With a very special thank you to Tina: Is hammer already absolute, how much some people verändern...ICH hope is never so I will be! And if, then I hope that I would then have wen in my environment who joins me in the A....

Ask your friends and family to please give you notice before they stop by.
In the meantime, just pretend you're not home.

friends don't do that... it was family
when i saw the car i ran to put something on as i was only wearing shorts n a bra (it was hot today)
so the kids let them in and told them that i was getting dressed

Well apart from one or 2 times it was never planned to sleep over, but we had to because of circumstances. So we didn't have any condoms with us. One time we were very close to doing it without one With a very special thank you to Tina: Is hammer already absolute, how much some people verändern...ICH hope is never so I will be! We do much MUCH better when we live at least a few hours away from family. I don't understand why families want to be on top of each other all the damn time.

This is considered unacceptable by everyone I know. It just doesn’t happen. Especially in this day and age of cell phones you can at the very least call when you’re a few minutes outside to see if someone’s around and everyone has the option of saying “it’s not a good time”.
And anyway I live in a secured building. They wouldn’t get past the lobby. |

Simply ignore the door. That's what I do. I think it's very rude to just drop in. You don't know what people have planned, and it could just mess up their entire day.
Used to date a "special agent in charge" who thought nothing of doing this, but when I asked him what he would do if I just dropped in on him, he looked at me like I was nuts and said, "You better not show up unannounced!" That finally let me know what an asshole I was dealing with. I told him to step.

I love visitors! I would never expect family or friends to call before coming over. I'd appreciate it but, our house is always open....I mean, that's what friends and family are for right? ok ok, I supposed if I had an annoying family memeber coming over unannounced all the time I might have to say something but it would have to be really bad. That's really nice and I applaud you for that, but I could not live like that With a very special thank you to Tina: Is hammer already absolute, how much some people verändern...ICH hope is never so I will be! My immediate family is like that. I understand that it's important to spend time together as a family, especially since two of my brothers live out of state with their wives and kids. But they want to do something EVERY DAY that my two brothers are here in town. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I didn't think people did this much today. Back in the day, especially in the south, folk would drop by all the time unannounced, especially on Sundays. It was a common and acceptable practice back then before cell phones and 'puters. I remember, as a child, my parents always went "visiting" on Sunday afternoons or evenings and drag me and my brother along. If the couple had no kids, we had to just sit there and listen to the adults talk. I always asked to go to the bathroon to break the monotony.

Those are either bill collectors or telemarketers. Just pick up the receiver and hang up, OR when someone announces themselves as either a marketer or collector, blow a whistle as hard as you can into the mouthpiece of the phone. That'll bust out an eardrum!
