The high is still in the 40s and will be for the next 4-5 days. Today we get rain but it will be sunny for the next week. I don't mind chilly as long as it's sun

It's not the worst weather possible but it's highly unusual for here, it's the wettest December of my life. It is irritating, you can't build a thing with this stuff, no fun. Not that cold though possibly around the 60s, I haven't checked. Suppose to be clearer skies by Friday hopefully it'll be pretty.

You guys ended up getting it much worse that we did up North. We just got insane amounts of snow in the mountains up here. I really wanted the crazy half inch of rain an hour stuff that went South. Instead we got the inch a day storms and now it's just partly cloudy until Friday night. Still supposed to rain hard on Christmas, though. excited

I meant to post pictures of our stadium almost completely submerged in muddy water, well that's what you get when you build in a big massive riverbed. Of course it drained completely away within hours after the rain stopped. It was a bright, cool Christmas, and today it's nice and somewhat warm. Did you get the weather you wanted?

Yes and no. It rained, but not nearly as much as I was hoping for. Still, we've had already had more precipitation this rain season than the last couple combined, so that's good. You're in SD - I saw the stadium on the news. That was crazy. Laguna Beach was even more insane, though. I've been there so many times and the pictures/film I saw looked like a completely different place.

Edit: Stoopud speling edti.

Several deaths were attributed to the storm here in NYC, because the ambulances couldn't get through the snow. A baby delivered inside the lobby of a Brooklyn building died after the mother's 911 call brought no help for nine hours. Meanwhile, the folks on the Upper West Side(where the mayor lives) got their streets plowed. And the Dept. of Sanitation commissioner's street in Staten Island got first priority too. It's good to be the king.

Bloomberg's catching major heat for the city's handling of this mess, and rightfully so.

That's unnecessarily tragic and inexcusable, so I'm not trying to make light of any of that. But did you see the video of the snowplow taking out the row of cars? I think that was in Brooklyn, too? And the Dept of Sanitation still runnin' things in NY. Crazy.

yeah, it was Brooklyn

there was an ambulance stuck in the snow up the block from me on sunday.. not sure if they had anybody in there though... hmph!

and the night before on the news, they kept talking about the 365 plows they had "at the ready" and another thousand or so salt spreader (or maybe it was vice versa)... but.. hmph!

On Sunday night we had “freezing fog”. It’s a real weather condition, I promise.

Today we have a heat wave. It’s currently 36 degrees F (2.2 C) and raining. It’s going to stay this warm today, then get colder over night and by tomorrow morning we will have freezing rain and then snow falling on top of that. And the temps will drop through NYE so that the high temp expected Saturday is only 7 (-13.9 C) and overnight lows will be -5 (-20.6 C).

Friday 65, Yesterday 4-6 inches of snow shake

I spent the morning laying on my back watching the poor souls on tv stuck on overpasses and highways. Days like this I thank God I work at home. I'm enjoying looking at the snow outside my window.

Got 5 inches of snow in the Carolinas near the Charlotte line. 29 degrees with a high

of 36. Snow ain't melting at all today. Was suppose to start my new work schedule at

noon today after working nights for so long. Called boss and he stated they were shutting

down early and don't bother coming in until tomorrow because roads are still dangerous.

Looks like a day of video games, movies, and working out. boogie
