When I was younger I got into loads of mischief at works parties. That was just the type of person I was. But then I worked with loads of other young people who were the same, so it wasn't a big deal.

In recent years all of my work christmas parties have been pretty tame. Last year we had a party on a boat. I was below deck drinking all night and didn't feel too drunk until the end of the night when I went out into the air and got onto land - I could hardly stand up.

I've never embarrased MYSELF, but my Ex Husband once got LITERALLY thrown out of my work Christmas party once, for starting a fight. I was pretty embarrassed.

I know that feeling... and this is why i go alone

yeh, sure. i get blind drunk at parties, you see. the next day, people tell me what i did the night before and i go all red in the face.
