HELP!!!!!!! My cat peed on my bed 3x today. What do I do?

Ok, so I come home and everything is fine. I let my cat out and she got mad when I made her come in. No big deal, I thought. Next thing I know, she is peeing on my bed. I scold her and put her in the bathroom. I continue doing chores. Next thing I know, she is peeing again and now I just caught her. Besides getting a new mattress, what do I do? The thing is, she pooped in her box an hour ago, so she doesn't have a problem using it. She does not normally do this.

Get rid of it and get a dog. If a dog pisses on yer bed at least it will still love you.

You need to teach her not to pee on your bed and show her where the litter box is. Either that, or you can buy her her own bed and teach her not to sleep on yours. And close the door to your bedroom if that helps.

True. When my brother and his wife went away on their honeymoon, her cat peed all over the furniture because it was mad they were away for so long.

you probably need to spend some time with her. just, cuddle her up and ask what's wrong. (<- i am not an actual cat owner. this advice may be unsound)

fill a bathtub with water and......... evillol

seriously...if your cat is this vindictive, close your bedroom door when you are away. If you do not have a door, install one. You might want to just close all the doors in the house when you are not going to spend time with her.

And, lets be honest, if you are not around the majority of the time, perhaps you should not keep a cat or perhaps you should consider a less emotional breed.

it seems she did it twice after getting mad at you; for making her come in and for being scolded and putting her in the bathroom

Aww that sucks! I have 3 female cats and they are very pissy if I leave them for a long time. I usually put them in the bathroom if I come home and they've done something bad. They responded by scratching on the door and knocking stuff over on the sink. So now for punishment they get the cage. She did it out of attachment issues probably...Has the cat had its distemperment shot? Sometimes they do that when its time for them to get their distempermant shots...

She was mad because you made her come in before she was ready, lol

You have to let her know that her spitefulness will not be tolerated. Next time she pulls a stunt like that, bring her back to the mess, put her nose close to it and give her a firm scolding, (cats hate to be scolded), you can either give her a little spritz in the face with a water bottle or roll up a newspaper and hit the bed with it while scolding miss kitty.

Some cats are sensitive.

But not all. Last time I went on vacation, we just left the cat with a big bowl of food Friday, and came back Sunday night and she was just like "hi."

I don't think she realized we were gone.

Two days is nothing. It was when my brother and his wife left her cat alone for two weeks that it went crazy.

Keep your bedroom door closed.

My dog who used to be the best dog in the world has gotten old and senile. She now lets go on the carpet right in front of me. Poor thing. Not one year ago she would have been completely embarrassed about having gone in the house.

I just fed popcorn to a dog that "spoke" on commands in three languages.

I love cats, but this is why dog owners think cats are useless.

Maybe she's sick, a UTI perhaps. I would have her checked out by a vet first.
