I don't know the method to your madness with Fisher. Now if you go by the theory what

have you done for me lately then you are somewhat right about Fish but to say this guy

hasn't been a good coach is a little over the top. During the Steve McNair and Eddie George

era, this team was consistently among the best teams in the AFC. They played old school power

football and battled hard in the old AFC Central with the Steelers, Ravens, Jaguars, and Bengals.

As for VY, the jury still is out. He does have a good winning percentage and good upside but

even some of those games Vince did win, he didn't have to put the ball in the air a lot because

Chris Johnson was putting up good numbers.

Dude, legitimalety, the Titans were supposed to be the Patriots of the decade. Fish blew 3 great opportunities to win a ring, and I'm not even talking about the lone SB appearance because trhat was a Cinderella season. They didn't even win the division that year, the Jaguars did. The 2001-2002 season the Titans were the best in the league, but we got outcoached by the Ravens all season, and THEY won the SB. The year McNair won MVP, we went to Oakland in the AFC Championship game, got up to a 17-14 lead, had the ball on offense, and Fish thought it was 1985 again. 3 and out, trying to run the ball too much when we have an MVP QB. We punted, and the Raiders put a serious beatdown on that ass. evillol Went 13-3 a few years ago and were the SB favorites again, and here come the Ravens again. sigh

He had his time, he had his moments. But that time has passed. The game has passed, and apparently so has his coaching style. Notice his former teammate out in SF? lol Same coaching style, same records this season.

Time to go.

Have you heard Chris Johnson and other players' comments? Very telling.

Bad news for Carolina Panther fans - Luck is going back to Stanford for another year.

A lot of Panther fans here i talked to are gonna be disappointed. All the talk was

about Luck for the past week. Now it will be interesting to see if they go for a

free agent QB and draft the local guy down I-85 Clemson's DE DeQuan Bowers.

Did you miss the part where i stated they had to compete with the Steelers, Ravens, and

Jaguars. There was no way in hell they were going to be the team of the decade in the AFC

with those guys around and the Patriots looming on the horizon. lol

The Titans were not outcoached by the Ravens. They simply were out physical by the Ravens

defense. The Ravens were not a scoring machine on offense at all that year. They won a lot

of games by simply choking the shit out of teams. Ask me how i know. As a steelers fan, the

steelers were the last team to defeat the Ravens that year in Baltimore 9-7.

I disagree about the Ravens scenario. Even the year we went to the SB the Ravens were like 4-7 and beat us the second time we played during the regular season. Then the following year the beat us BOTH times we met. That means they beat you 3 times straight, and then you face them in the playoffs, and don't change up your scheme? :sigh; Make it 4 losses in a row, to the same team, and that team won the prize. To me, that's on the coach.

And I agree the AFC CEntral was a brutal division back then. lol Which is, again, a huge reason why the Steelers won their 2 rings when the division was busted up. And then the idiot that flunked geography put the Colts in our division, when it really should have been Miami. But because the AFC East was the toughest division in the NFL for so long, politics demanded hat Miami stayed in the AFC East.

Anway, isn't it time for somebody to start an NFL postseason thread? lol This thread is kinda long, now.

I agree with the bolded parts if Goodell is the idiot you are referring to. Politics also kept

Dallas in the NFC East and it ain't shit that's East about Dallas. Well if you are saying the

Steelers won two recent Super Bowls based on a weak division, you fail to realize that they actually won one of those Super Bowls as a sixth seed after having to win their final four games of the regular season to get there. They also had to beat the top 3 seeds on the road to get there(Bengals, Colts, and Broncos)What more do you want? The last Super Bowl the steelers won

by going 12-4 against the toughest schedule in the league so your theory here has no merit.

Since you mentioned it, I just started a postseason thread here:

http://prince.org/msg/100/350271

And since we're just a couple days away from the postseason games beginning, it's time to migrate over to the new thread.

Benzo was suspended for 4 games although he wasn't charged or arrested for a crime.

Goodell basically suspended Benzo for stupidassedness as well as he should have but i didn't

think it was preferential treatment in this case. He couldn't fairly suspend him for a whole

season without being charged or arrested for anything. The whole Favre-Jen thing was

like 2 years ago. We all know Mr. Favre has been pampered his whole career but this whole thing

with her just reeks of I want to get paid. lol

As for the dynamic duo, it just reeks of sour grapes to me. We failed miserably on the field so let's

just rant off and blame others. I'm all for telling it like it is when it's warranted but when your bark is bigger than your bite sometimes it's best like you said to STFU. That goes for that ass clown

Rex Ryan too.

Ben was involved in TWO incidents and I think if it were VY or another black QB it woulda been dealt with more severely than a 4 game suspension, even without charges. And no way a black QB woulda been allowed to stonewall an investigation all season resulting in a measley $50k fine. Plus, the Favre situation involves more than just the one chick (two massage therapists were harrassed by him and complained) and the Jets (and possibly the league) were aware of it then and covered it up. Yeah, it's partially them mouthing off AGAIN but IMO there's some truth in what they're saying.

Is it turkey sausage or real bacon?

It's Terrell's MO. He did it to Ray Lewis when he was playing with the Eagles with

his i never been in trouble off the field rant but look at what Ray Lewis did. Ray

Lewis took the high road. It's always the blame game with this guy.
