So, basically, Iceman was trynna get him some Maverick but Goose stood in his way. Then when Goose "conveniently" died, Iceman played the damsel in distress so Maverick could save his ass. Then he offered to be his wingman "anytime." That's the movie in a nut.

Obviously the love that was in the movie was not really suitable for "Top Gun".

Ugh, to be in the middle of Cruise and Kilmer circa 1986... Not so much now.

I remember thinking there was something off about that scene but I was like 12 when this movie came out so I couldn't put my finger on it. Now, I can and it looks like Apollow put his on it too.
