Eating - always a flattering thing to be doing in a photo. I thought my lunch was going to be in this photo. It got cropped off - thankfully my boobs are still here.

The coolest thing EVER happened to me on Sunday.

I was lying on the couch, pondering what to make for dinner and all of a sudden my in-laws arrived unannounced. Then the master told me I had 2 hours to pack my bag because our anniversary dinner date night (which was planned for Monday night) was NOT going to be in our home city, it was in fact going to be 3000km away - where we spent our honeymoon 12 years ago.

I bawled my eyes out!!! I was SOOOO surprised!!!!

Not new, but it's recently been 3 years since our wedding ceremony and I'm feeling nostalgic and more in love with my wife than ever, so...

Gawd I love that woman. Life ain't no picnic, that's for sure, and married life especially isn't ever easy over time, but dagnammit if it isn't rewarding if you put your all into it and actually try your best to honour, respect and care for the person you can much more easily say you love so much. Here's to 9 years together and going stronger than ever
