I've been trying to get to the Post Office since Saturday! I have to be at work by 7:45 AM and most PO's don't open until 8:00 AM. I get off work at 5:00 PM and by that time, most are closed. I am determined to get it mailed tomorrow by at least 3:00 PM. It will be sent Priority Mail with delivery confirmation, so if anyone gets a pink slip from the Post Office telling them to pick up something, don't think it's some kind of legal document threatening legal action! GO PICK UP YOUR GIFT!

I have posted the gift, finally!

Wanted to expand the amount of presents, however, that operation took too long, so I just mailed the things I had. Next year I'll make sure I have the extras ready in advance.

I finally got my gift in the mail! I had to attend a "Town Hall Meeting" today at work, which started at 7:30 AM and was to last until 1:00 PM. I gave 'em 4.5 hours and I was outta there. I was determined to make it to the post office before they closed for lunch at 1:00 PM. I sent it Priority Mail with delivery confirmation so I'll know when my SS receieves it. Should be received by at least Saturday.

I was just looking through my recipe book and I saw I have a recipe for caramel pecan rolls! Huh. Who knew? I might need to whip those up soon.

Ladies and gentlemen, my Secret Santa was cborgman, and he totally delivered the presents last night in the form of drinks, dinner, chocolates, and even cat stickers. It was an awesome night, and we should've photowhored it, but we were too busy having a great time.
