FUCKIN STINK BUGS! Where the hell are they coming from for chrissakes???!!! I have a small bedroom that I use as my office with my desk and computer. Every friggin time I sit at the desk for any amount of time, these fuggin stink bugs seem to drop out of nowhere onto my desk! I've been at my computer for the better part of 4 hours, and in that time I have killed 3 of them. I have to be careful how I do kill because if I'm not careful, they stink. They smell just like a very strong cilantro. Shit gives me a friggin headache. Anybody else having this problem? If so, how the hell can I get rid of them? Where the hell could they be coming from? My desk is directly in front of a west facing window. Could the warmth of the afternoon sun be warming a nest in the window frame or something? This shit is driving me nuts!

When we went to the DC Meetup back in September, there was an article about them in the paper... I didn't even know what they were, but we saw them when we were walking around.
I don't know what to do about them, but I felt like comforting you! "Love Hurts. Your lies, they cut me. Now your words don't mean a thing. I don't give a damn if you ever loved me..." -Cher, "Woman's World"

ugh! I feel your pain. We had them a few years back...I do think they nest in window frames and such. I think they are also called a wood bug. YUK to me the smell was that of wood (if you've ever ordered cord wood you'll now what I mean) and bananas. Blech! Muthafuckers would be in my BED! we just had to deal with them for awhile...like most of the winter...then they went away.
"not a fan" yeah...ok | |

cilantro wood bananas
those things don't stink per se.
I thought stink bugs were supposed to smell like or cheese or something. I don't want to come in contact with any mind you but it's not sounding like they smell all that bad.

Get one of those inscect vacuums. Although they do grind them up, so I don't know if that would smell.

It's strange, but they do smell like cilantro. I gorw it in pots on my deck and when I cut it and get it on my hands, it has that strong aroma. Too much of the smell gives me a headache. When you agitate those critters, they give off that very strong odor, hence "stick bugs." Imma Google the suckers, see what I can find out.
