Anybody ever try Sensa? Does it work?

A couple days ago, the Millionaire Matchmaker was on Wendy and she looked GREAT! Wendy asked her what she was doing and she said she sprinkles Sensa on all her food and she lost over 30lbs. Then, this morning I was flipping channels and saw an infomercial for Sensa.

Sounds like an interesting product, so I was wondering if any of you have used it and what your results were? cool

I think we had a Sensa thread here two or three weeks ago.

I don´t believe in that stuff.

( I think by Mach...if Mach believes in it, so do I lol )

This one in particular was very interesting because one of my favorite moderators tried it:

I know I've been on here many times asking about diet products but all in all I've gotten fed up wasting money on dieting products and just decided to change my eating habits and join a gym that had better open hours to comply with my busy schedule. I not only feel great but I have more money in my pockets and I stopped looking at the scale every other day. I find more satisfaction in this than the dieting products and not only that..the pounds stay off. Don't get me wrong SCNDLS I'm not putting your interest in this product down or dismissing it, just giving my personal opinion and experience on dieting. thumbs up!

I'm wary of chemicals and what they might do to the insides of ones body.

I would just exercise and eat right.

Hahaha!!!! Girl that's a big NO from me. I did lose a few pounds the 1st couple of weeks then nothing. Maybe 7 total or so.

Its just not worth it IMHO.

Koolease found my thread on the subject, I am glad it worked for June7. I decided just to watch what I eat, so far I loss 15 lbs, and kept it off but it was due to a few permanent changes. Only 65 more pounds to go. neutral

lol So basically you sprinkle it on your food and then you find you can't finish your plate. How much does it cost? Something like metformin would do the same thing for next to nothing, if you really want to go that route.

If she doesn't have food allergies she should give it a try... she should read up on there warnings, some people have had BAD reactions to this product digestion wise.

Graycap, what do you mean by "chemicals"?

For example, pure water is a chemical substance. It has a chemical composition. So does your blood, and apple juice.

It's what you make it.

It's better to focus on building muscle than just losing weight. The stronger you are the more fat you'll burn anyway. Not enough women do strength work, I think. Too much cardio, which can lead to muscle being used as an energy source.

and if he means a purely synthesized substance, then there goes your whole pharmaceutical industry!

How about exercising and eating healthy food, as you should, and then adding something like L-Carnitine into the mix just to make the most of your fat burning? It's great for you in general, but for dieting is particularly good as it'll speed up your metabolism. I love supplements like that, just filling up with what can be naturally found in food sources but which is very, very difficult to get a good amount of unless you eat an impractical amount of certain foods. lol

lol So basically you sprinkle it on your food and then you find you can't finish your plate. How much does it cost? Something like metformin would do the same thing for next to nothing, if you really want to go that route.

Mon takes it sometimes, taken from her father's free stash from the hospital lol but I'm trying to get her more into protein, increasing metabolism, and building muscle, so I think she should eat a little more. The metformin as an appetite suppressant is a bit too effective, methinks.

tell her I said stop it. I take it for diabetes and while I've dropped a considerable amount of weight the side effects are aweful.

Will do. I'm in agreement with you anyway. She never finishes her meals anymore and there are definitely better ways to go.
