Did You Ever See A Ghost/ When ? I have seen a few Ghosts when I was under the age of five. The most vivid memory I have was when I was three and there was a ghost in my bedroom. It looked like a white statue and there was a smell in the room that was unusual. It was standing still next to the window. It went away when I told my family members about it. I miss seeing ghosts. Children under the age of seven see Ghosts more clearly than adults. I have never seen any spirits( family members or strangers). However, I would like to see some. I have to develop my psychic ablility.

I'm pretty sure that I saw a sort of ghost when I was about 24, 3 months before my first daughter was born.
I was lying in bed just dozing off and started to feel very uneasy, the bedroom door opened and standing there was a beautiful little boy of about 4 years old. He stood and smiled and said ''It'll be ok Daddy, I'll be here''. And he took my hand and I could feel it vividly. Then I sat bolt upright in bed and the kid had gone, but the bedroom door was open and i could still feel a tingle on my hand. Scared me stupid and convinced me that my wife was going to give birth to a boy.
When my first daughter was about 4 she went to the hairdresser with her Mum and come home with a cute little short bob hairstyle.....and looked exactly like the kid that visited me that night!!!
Still freaks me out to this day and she's been a rock to me through a couple of family tragedies.

No, never. Silliness in my opinion.

I occasionally see little pings of light out of the corners of my eyes accompanied by the feeling that I'm not alone. I usually say "hi" in their direction.

The little boy could have been a child that your wife lost ,or he died in the house you were in. He probably thought that you were his father.

Oh you mean the JustErin appreciation threads? Yeah they die before they get closure, so they haunt the boards for a little while.

Same here - except that I tend to see shadows. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

You're just being paranoid again.

My parents bought their house from an older couple. They moved to SC, and then the wife died. I guess she came back to the original house in NJ, because I woke up a couple of times to someone transparent standing over my bed (My room was their bedroom).
My parents' room was diagonally across from my sister's. One night she was asleep in her room, and I was watching TV in their room. All of a sudden, a blurry woman in a blue dress walked (floated) down the hall. I thought I was losing it, but then my sister sat up and sleepily stared toward the blue blur. She said, "What was that?" and then went back to sleep. It was very bizarre.
A few years later, he passed away. We stopped "seeing her". "Love Hurts. Your lies, they cut me. Now your words don't mean a thing. I don't give a damn if you ever loved me..." -Cher, "Woman's World"

There was. I tried to find it, so I wouldn't have to retype the story again. "Love Hurts. Your lies, they cut me. Now your words don't mean a thing. I don't give a damn if you ever loved me..." -Cher, "Woman's World"

I went to the Philippines when I was 14 or so, and I was sleeping in the living room of my Nanay's (Grandma) house, and I awoke in the middle of the night seeing a greenish flourescent figure walking up the stairs, and I told my Dad about it, and he said it was my Grandpa, and that others have seen his ghost periodically. I slept at my Auntie's house after that! If it breaks when it bends, U better not put it in!

I saw a disembodied shadow once. Only once. I was very calm about it.

I never believed in ghosts until may of 2002. I was sleeping as sound as a baby, and a sudden blast of cold air crossed my face and promptly awakened me at around 6 in the morning. I swear on the pillow next to me was the face of a middle aged woman i had never seen prior or to this day after. Her eyes were closed and her nose was just inches from mine. Her hair tied back tightly and her face drained of colour. This image lingered for no more than 1 second. I have tried to make sense of it, taking into account i was in deep sleep just before it happened but to this day i am puzzled by it. Her face is etched on my mind still.

Sylvia B. says that ghosts do not know that they are dead. They think they are still alive. That is why they remain in the property that they lived or died in. Some of them just do not want to go to the other side(stubborn). If you see a ghost you should tell it that he/she is dead. Tell him/her to go home to God; go to the white light. Also, sprinkle salt, holy water around the house and say some prayers.

Not seen...but smelled and sensed. I'll keep it short as I have explained before and it's too long to go into details again. Very close to grandmother Went to uni - grandmother worried about me Gran died suddenly within a couple of weeks of 'me starting - never got to tell her I was doing fine. Met girlfriend (now wife) day after death First time I took her back to my hometown to meet parents we were alone in house. House suddenly filled with the very distinct smell of my grandmothers perfume and her house. Lasted a few minutes with feeling of company...then smell went. I like to think she was checking on 'me one last time

Still freaks me out to this day and she's been a rock to me through a couple of family tragedies. .ever read Embraced by the Light by Bettie Eadie. It a true account that apparently inspired The Gold Experience which is why I read it first but it's amazing whether you believe or not (I'm not a God believer). In case you haven't....from what I recall she 'dies' during a hysterectomy and sees life after death...including the vision of a boy standing by her bedside - she later adopted a boy who grew into the vision she'd seen

Thank you for the advice...but it was a long long time ago and i was so scared i hid under the blankets, said the Our Father a few times then looked over and She was still there so i covered my self and prayed until i fell asleep........later i described her to our old neighbour and apparently is was a lady who lived and died in that house years ago....

Call me crazy but yes...and what's worse is I dont think it was a ghost...i think it was not a human spirit...and I dont even plan to talk about it....I never want to see it again Going to church doesn’t make you a Christian, any more than standing in a garage makes you a car.
