Oh you mean a cover that's always on?

If so, I meant we were closing it down for the winter. We don't cover it during the summer.

I only have one child, who does not play outside alone....ever. Plus he's known how to swim for over a year now. So that's really not an issue.

actually, it's a fence you need, not a cover - especially those soft ones, kids who could swim have been tangled up and drowned in pools with a cover on cry

don't you have pool fence laws over there?

"Australia

All states and territories in Australia have pool fence laws. All pool fencing must comply with AS1926.1 1993 or 2007 standards."

As per code, our backyard is fully fenced (3/4 of an acre). And as I said earlier, no kids play outside alone - they only go out with adult supervision.

I'm not a parent who allows my child to play outside alone, or even with friends with someone being out there with them...whether there is a pool or not. He is far too young for that.

And yes, cats can swim but they don't have the intelligence to know to go to a ladder and get out.

Our pool at the new house is much larger (and heated so it will open even in the spring and fall) but it also has a ladder and large submerged steps so that any animal that falls in can easily get out. It is also fully fenced and will not have a daily cover, just one used in the winter.

Fuck, I'm sorry, Erin. I had TMJ as a kid. When I got the headaches, I would projectile vomit with it too. Do you ever get nauseous from it?

The way they fixed mine was by realigning my jaw with big stupid rubber bands on my braces that made me talk like Christian Bale.

I wonder if sleepin with your jaw tied kinda like Jacob Marley would be a temporary relief.

This post scares me.

The fuck is scary about Jacob Marley?

Call me all the time, hang out all the time.
