She still has fluid in her lungs but she should be fully recovered in a couple of days.
Glad to hear it. How about you? Has the mystery pain disappeared? |

Nope. I spend my days on high doses of painkillers. I'm going back to the doctor this week. |

Wow, very sorry to hear that. And to imagine that it just started out of nowhere... Scary.
I guess the main thing now is to get the right diagnosis. Once you've got that I'm sure they'll have treatments to offer. Hang in there.

I think I am really clenching my jaw when I sleep. I'm really starting to think it's TMJ because I always have an headache, and an ache in my lower jaw and ears now. And sometimes during the day I catch myself clenching. |

I do that, I got a splint made for when I sleep, except after a short time even, my teeth had moved around far enough for that thing to be uncomfortable

Sounds like stress, stress and more stress. At least the jaw-clenching itself is quite easily treatable from what I've heard. The stress you might have to work harder on. |

So were you in pain before using it? I'm seriously going crazy with this.

yeah, but not as bad as what you seem to be going through. I can't open my mouth very far, and the joint of my jaw is worn in an abnormal way from opening my mouth crookedly, which they predict will develop arthritis
when I was in my 20s my dad moved one of my teeth, since I used to have a lot more pain back then, and it's been much better since then. I have this one wisdom teeth that hasn't come out (I never grew any others) and it's probably the cause of my limited movement, but I haven't got around to getting it taken (dug!) out yet. |

I've been dealing with a major health issue (but thankfully not painful) and now this shit which is just awful. I'm falling apart here! |

Fuck, I'm sorry, Erin. I had TMJ as a kid. When I got the headaches, I would projectile vomit with it too. Do you ever get nauseous from it?
The way they fixed mine was by realigning my jaw with big stupid rubber bands on my braces that made me talk like Christian Bale.
I wonder if sleepin with your jaw tied kinda like Jacob Marley would be a temporary relief. |

Oh you mean a cover that's always on?
If so, I meant we were closing it down for the winter. We don't cover it during the summer.
I only have one child, who does not play outside alone....ever. Plus he's known how to swim for over a year now. So that's really not an issue. |

actually, it's a fence you need, not a cover - especially those soft ones, kids who could swim have been tangled up and drowned in pools with a cover on
don't you have pool fence laws over there?

right not a soft one, but they do make covers that you can't fall through |
