I need new ideas for grabbing a meal quickly. Fast food is no longer and option- what do you do?

Well for me since I'm on the go a lot, sometimes, I HAVE to pick up something before heading home. When I do, I make sure I pick smart choices, like a light salad with some grilled chicken, or some stir fry from my favorite chinese restaurant (but I only eat one serving of it and save the rest for the next day). When at home and I have no money for take out, then I either bake chicken or fish (whatever I'm in the mood for), for 30-35 minutes and then I put a bag of Steamfresh veggies in the microwave to cook and walla...food is ready.

yeah- thats what I do- but im tired of sandwhiches.

You could make several different dishes on Sunday and then have them throughout the week. Then you just have to heat them up throughout the week.

You have to eat it slooowly so we can safely say it's NOT fast food

I think I will set aside Sat. to just cook up at least 3 meals....- that takes care of dinner.- lunch is where it gets boring...
