its around the corner... have you decided on your halloween costume?

halloween is one of my all time favorite things... the spookyness, the glam, the crowds, the sexiness all around, adorable costumes on the kids, all the clever creativeness, the pranks, the drinks, and oh lord the candy... i could go on and on...

so what have you decided to be this year?

did you buy your costume or are you cleverly making it?

do you have parties to go to? or are you dressing up to scare the kids and take part in the festivities?

this year i have decided to be a pirates whore.. yes a whore to a pirate

i know its not clever.. but im not going for clever this year im going for sophisticated slut .... lol

any way here is my costume and my magical hat that i got to wear with my costume

oh also add knee high boots, fish nets and a garter to that costume..

anyway tell me what you are gonna be for halloween post the costume if you want.. i would love to see it heart

That's going to look great on you. I love it!

Halloween isn't celebrated as much here in the UK. Saying that, my aunt and uncle have thrown awesome halloween parties for the last couple of years. They aren't doing it this year, but here'a pic from last years party. (If anyone does dress up for halloween here it's pretty much always monsters, witches, zombies etc... )

My daughter wasn't going to have any face paint at all but decided she wanted hers done about 5 minutes before we left and my husband was meant to just have fake cuts and blood... but that all went horribly wrong so we ended up painting his green last minute too.

Everything always ends up being a mad rush in our house.

I don’t know if I’ll be celebrating Halloween traditionally this year (though it remains one of my favorite holidays) but I’ve already visited a haunted basement (the coolest and scariest in the country) and Saturday I’m taking part in the Zombie Pub Crawl. They’re expecting upwards of 10,000 zombies this year and may well get into the Guinness Book of World Records.

My bf and I are trying to decide our costumes this evening. I think we’re gonna be an old couple that got attacked while getting ready for bed. lol We’ll both be in PJs and robes and I’ll have my hair up in curlers and he’ll carry a pipe and a newspaper and then, of course, we’ll have the zombie make-up and rotting flesh and blood and such.

Or maybe not. We have to find it all tonight.

I love that! My husband dressed up as him once. I couldn't look at him without laughing.

I'm not sure what I'm doing this year. My friends used to always have a huge Halloween party, but lately they've been doing bus parties with their Burning Man friends. rolleyes I like to walk in the Halloween parade -- it's so fun and there are so many awesome costumes. If I do go anywhere I'll probably just rock my Holly Golightly (Audrey Hepburn from Breakfast at Tiffany's) costume again. It's classic, I look good as Holly, and people love it. shrug

The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

I doubt that I will be going anywhere this year for which a costume would be a plus.

I know. Ron was like "We can have a party if you want", but then I end up doing all this work and spending $$. Why can't other people have parties too? lol

I do love Halloween and most of what it's associated with (could do without kids knocking on the door - that goes for any day of the year, though). But I haven't worn a costume since I was 15. I'm scary enough without one. lol
