I do hope they find the monster that committed this crime, just as I wish that for all the children that are killed and don't receive excessive media coverage.

You would have thought that this case would have been a wake-up call to all the sick parents out there who force their little girls into becoming kiddie beauty queens, but it hasnt!!!! Its still happening even now!!! Its totally sick, in my opinion!! For Gods sake, wackos, let your little girls b normal!!!! Just because your little daughter is pretty, doesnt give u the right to force them into this artificial world!!!!

I always thought the mother was suspect, but since there is DNA from an unknown, I guess that clears her. She seemed to be reliving her own life vicariously through her child.

My opinion on these toddler beauty pageants is that mothers are living through their little girls. When I've taken the time to look at these pageants, 85% of the mothers are either fat or obese screaming banshees browbeating their daughters into performing ridiculous routines. They spend thousands of dollars on costumes, makeup, lessons, travel, entry fees, etc. Hell, why not use that money toward saving for the child's education/college?

I was kinda young when this happened and didn't really watch the news so much, but I thought they had solved it years ago???
