Oh, lawd. Am I going to need an ARC up in this mofo? I'm at work, and I'm fortunate enough to have two, count 'em, TWO, windows in my office so I can see and HEAR the rain. The building is made out of aluminum, and any little drop of water is magnified, so with the pounding of this torrential onslaught, one can hardly hear oneself think. For those of you on the east coast of the USA, how's the weather where you are? BklynBabe, you OK? I heard NC was gonna get clobbered.

It's a bit muggy, as well as overcast in NYC right now Wind is kicking up a bit, so hopefully it won't get too bad later.

It has been raining off and on all day here in NJ as well.

It is so damn humid in this school building, that I feel like I'm teaching in the bathroom after a shower. I'm wilting!

I dunno if anyone really cares or not, but it's been rainging cats and dogs here since last week. My basement completely flooded the day it started and STILL isn't completely dried out. The kids Wii (that they never play anyways) got ruined 2 sofas and a gun cabinet.

And the persons dehumidifier I borrowed, smells like cat pee!!!

Yes, yes, it's very pretty and all. But only for a couple of weeks, then the leaves are all gone and all you're left with is a damp cold and grey skies. What I'm saying is that the pretty and nice part of fall doesn't last long. Fall as a whole goes on forever.

I don't like hot weather. I actually enjoy being outside when the air is cool and crisp, and my cheeks feel a slight sting.

I also like "sweater weather" before you need a heavy winter coat.

I guess it's all in the perspective. Notice I didn't call you for not liking the same thing.
