well....there are a few ways to look at it:
1) some females are just naturally inclined to become mothers. it's their life's goal. so it's not surprising to see them become mommies at a young age.
2) some females (especially of the high school/college age) are infatuated with babies and when one has a baby...the rest want something equally cute to love and play with.
3) Maybe they envy your situation and you just don't know it. Perhaps they wish they would have waited like you are doing.

too many kids having kids. No stable relationship, thats it - babies, babies, babies...with taxpayers having to pick up the ticket. You may be one the exceptions but most kids are stoopid! and I dont renage on my thinking either. "I may not agree with what you say but I'll fight for your right to say it"

but how old are ?? if you dont mind my asking
my generation is not as mature...
i still feel like a kid and being a mother is a big responsibility , which i dont think im ready for

It certainly isn't wise to have a child you can't take care of and to not allow the child the advantage of growing up with both a mother and a father...on the other hand...some situations can't be helped and if the mother does the best she can and rears a good kid...who is society to argue with that?
Meh....i dunno. There are an awful lot of brats runnin' round with little discipline. Gettin' teenaged boys to stop fuckin and duckin' is like gettin' it to rain in the desert...aint happenin' any time soon.
There seriously needs to be a male birth control pill. That's right...I don't fault these girls as much as these dang boys.

yeah, they just wanna have play thing a baby is not a play thing
but alot of them always say " all i have is myself and my baby and i dont need anyoone else"
which makes me think these girls have babies so they can have that unconditional love.... so sad

Couldn't trust the males to take it. I would advocate that they invent that birth control in which is inserted under the arm and lasts for about 3 or 5 years I can't remember which. If my son started the rush of hormones and felt like he had to have a bonk then he would get this ASAP. No grandkids for me until he has grown up enough to look after them himself!

Babies are a lot of work. I can't think of anything that requires more attention and care. I don't have any...not emotionally equipped and plus I like my body too damned much.
My younger cousins (teen and college age) have kids and they'd have no social life were it not for their parents and single cousins who offer to baby sit.
Plus rearing kids takes so damn long and cost a lot of money....you're talking birth to college graduation and sometimes beyond since the economy is fucked up.
These girls need to think about where they will get the money to feed and cloth these kids, put them in daycare while mommy works, pay for tutoring if the school is lacking, pay for health/dental care etc.
Plus kids need attention and positive reinforcement...if they don't get it they're bound to turn into the baddest brats you've ever seen and they will get the attention from unscrupulous individuals.
Then you have to watch out for the child predators who often go after single mothers.
Then when the kids are teens you have to deal with all that rebellion shit and worry about other kids influencing them to undo everything you've taught them.
Honestly...whoever thought human child rearing was a one-person job is out their mind. I give props to those that are doing it though....lord knows it can't be easy.

Pickles, I know what you talkin' about. I know some girls who have children already and still manage to go to college...brave, strong women. Some of them are on their own.
Raising children ain't easy. I'm 20 myself and I dream of the day I become a mother. But at this point in time, I also have goals to reach, my own fortunes to build and the like. So I compensate by being around children ( I volunteer with them) and they seem to like me. Although, a friend of mine (35 years old) told me recently her 16 year old son knocked up his girlfriend and they're expecting their first child!! Now THAT'S early! The woman just had a baby (her 4th), and now she's gonna be a grandma! People just don't know when to have children. And now, you start seeing a very young generation of parents....
I think this is because parents refuse to talk to their children about sex and the consequences, lack of sex ed in school, and the unavailability of contraceptives to young people. Although abstinence at this age is HIGHLY recommended, if you can't control it, at least know the consequences and be prepared for it. Children are a blessing, but when you're still a child, they can be a burden and can prevent you sometimes from pursuing your full potential.

Just curious...where do you live? (No, not your street address, just the city and/or state you live in.) Is it a small to mid-sized town in the middle of nowhere? Is it in the Deep South? I ask that because it seems that girls from small towns are always getting knocked up really early while those who live in big cities and don't live in the ghetto wait a long time to hook up with a significant other, let alone have children.
