Despite the best efforts of Judge Elden Fox to try and exert his judicial powers by attempting to force to endure a 30 day jail sentence by remanding her to jail without bail on a misdemeanor charge, Appeals Judge Patricia Schnegg has overturned Judge Fox's ruling and ordered that Lindsay MUST be allowed to post bail for her misdemeanor infraction. As a result, just hours after L. Lo was processed, booked and mug shot at Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, CA yesterday morning, was freed on bail late last night:Lindsay LohanLindsay Lohan

Judge Schnegg ruled that, "as a matter of right", Lindsay must be afforded the same opportunity to post bail on a misdemeanor charge and (10% of) $300,000. later she is, once again a free woman:

Lindsay's horribly enabling mother Dina Lohan was on hand to collect her daughter from jail late last night and decided to treat L. Lo to a late night dinner as soon as she got sprung. Check out those photos, after the jump …

Now that Lindsay is free, again, she must once again wear a court-ordered alcohol-monitoring SCRAM bracelet and will be required — again — to refrain from drinking and must — again — submit to random drug testing. Tho, if yesterday's shenanigans are any indication, there is no real inhibitor to keep Lindsay from drinking or taking whatever the Hell she wants … as long as she can pay her way out of jail, she's pretty much got free reign. On the plus side, tho, yesterday's jail stint was her second longest because as you may recall, she was only jailed for about 84 minutes the first time she was incarcerated back in 2007. Lindsay will still have to return to court on October 22 to face Judge Fox again … and very well could be arrested and thrown back in jail — again. But if I were the Teflon Girl like Lindsay Lohan, I wouldn't sweat it for one second. The girl seems unincarcerateable. Let's hope this uncanny ability to avoid punishment won't lead to her early demise.

And that in a nutshell sums up why she is failing to get sober. Until Lindsay gets rid of all the people enabling her addictions, she will never get well. sigh disbelief

And the main issue is Dina Lohan seems more of an enabler than a parent.

Her mother isn't enabling her so much as she is coddling her. I'm sure Lindsay was on her best behavior at dinner, ykno?

This chile right here... it always hits me hard to see that people just sit by and watch this stuff happen right before their eyes... I suppose that as long as their bills are paid and they can leech off the gravy train, why should they care if their friend, colleague or family member is going off the deep end? Damn shame...disbelief

I guess this was back when she was still friends with Paris and they would have all those public spats about gawd knows what: I guess that would be post-high- sucking-face, I hate you scenarios the morning after.

...and to think they used to call Bill Clinton the Teflon Don; he had nothing on these Hollywood kids who can do no wrong in the public eye and get away with everything under the sun.
