Last weekend I was at a bar downtown and some idiot pointed at me and said loudly " Hey you look like that pedophile! Isn´t that the pedophile from that news report?"

He was referring to a particular pedophile (Picture of him here: http://www.dv.is/media/ne...00_q95.jpg) that was busted by a news program that caught him talking inappropriately to a reporter that pretended to be a 13 year old girl on some online chatroom. He was later convicted for some other related offenses.

That someone would compare me to a guy like that JUST because I also have glasses and the fact that I'm also a bit chubby (nothing like him though) is just SO offensive to me.

Luckily one of my female friends saw him shouting those things and shouted back at him "Don't say that bullshit about my man!" and dragged me away to the dancefloor. I was still so mad that I wanted to punch the guy in the face, but he was on steroids or something or looked like that at least, so I didn't do anything.

I'm pretty insecure about my looks, so his comments almost ruined the rest of the night. At the same time I was so angry and I kinda felt that he "got away with" saying those things because I didn't throw a punch at him or something like that. I don't know, maybe that's what he wanted, to start a fight with someone...

The only thing I did do was shout at him : "What the hell is your problem?" and he kept on just pointing and shouting loudly that I looked like that pedophile creep.

I'm not a violent person nor do I condone violence but I REALLY wanted to teach that asshole a lesson somehow for talking shit about me.
