Umm... it sounds like you just need to meet some new people. Since I don't live where you live, not sure what to suggest. I find just doing the things I like to do with no expectations works pretty well. But I'm definitely not looking for "the perfect one", or any "one". So maybe that helps. Dunno. Maybe a change of scenery would do you good.

I am actually moving, but it's from a city of a million people to a town of 5000. At least it's near another town that is about 100,000 people....and I already know a bunch of people there. But THEY are all married because what else is there to do in a small town?

So, if I think I have it bad now....wait til I get there.

As far as feeling sorry for yourself, eh, just sounds like the normal stuff people go through when they're possibly feeling a little lonely, getting older AND moving.
