Night owl. I have a lot of trouble waking up in the morning so I usually don't get to work til 10 or 11 AM. Luckily my job is flexible like that.

I'm SO with you on the 6 hour workday. I think Americans in particular place FAR too much emphasis on work and not enough on the important things, like pretty much everything else. It's one thing to put in 12 hour work days if you are passionate about what you do, but most people simply aren't. The world would be a better place if people had more time to spend with their loved ones or doing the things they REALLY enjoy. Think how much happier everyone would be.

Yup, and happier people work more efficently too so it's a win-win. No point in suffering at work because of ideals of martyrdom or virtue; if you can keep society running with a more human-friendly setup - so be it.

Night owl. I detest waking up early in the morning. I must say that my idea of "sleeping in" has changed as I've aged. Sleeping in for me as a youth was at least until 10 am however sleeping in for me now is 8:30. Considering that I wake up at 6:00 am on work days, 2 extra hours of sleep is nice. My body doesn't allow me to sleep until 10 am anymore, no matter what time I went to bed. And my son of a bitchin' cat also doesn't let me sleep in for too long either.

Unfortunately I'm both. No matter what time I go to be I wake up between five and six in the morning, without an alarm! mad Usually goes that way for a couple weeks and then I'll get one good, long night of sleep. Been that way since puberty hit. Dang insomnia! Oh well, more time to listen to music. lol

Night owl. Which is bad because I have the whole college thing right now. lol But I love being up late at night, just doing nothing. I spent that time either here, or playing games or writing stuff. When I had somebody..well...haha that time was well-spent. It's a wonder I'm not a mama right now.

truly a night owl....

Going to church doesn’t make you a Christian, any more than standing in a garage makes you a car.

Plus the U.S gets very little vacation time compared to most countries. mad Don't the UK get twice as many vacation days? I see why people get stressed & go postal. lol

Does it have anything to do with what time one was born? Just wonderin'. Definitely a night owl, until about 1:30, even on Benadryl. Now I work three overnight shifts on a crisis line, and while I could sleep on the job (there's a bed), I'm a slight sleeper and prefer not to be awaken by the phone. I jump up and run sometimes with my eyes closed and heart is racing, so I don't sleep too well at work. Those nights average about 3 hours of sleep between 1-6am. Then I go home and sleep about 2 more hours and then I can get started on my day. If I have to wake up before 8am, do not talk to me, let me get myself together and function before having a conversation, and that's usually on Sundays when getting ready for 8am church service.

Yeah. There's nothing I can stand even less than sudden noise in the morning, someone simply talking to me loudly and ignorantly, as if we were living on a construction site. I also hate it when people ask me and talk to me about things that are completely irrevelant for that time of the day.

"What do you wanna eat tonight? What did you do yesterday? It's 11 o'clock, why are you still asleep?"

I can get quite rude if someone is so stupid and behaves like an idiot, especially when they've just woken me up lol

I'm an early bird. I have to be up by 6:00 AM to be ready to leave for work by 7:00 AM to get to work at 8:00 AM. On the weekends, I still wake up before 7:00 AM. I'm usually out of bed by then to fix a cup of joe. After that, I'm up. I'll do chores, garden, or go to Costco. I'm usually in bed by 11:00 PM on any night. Depending on my day, I might wake up at 2:00 AM. If that happens and I have to get up at 6:00 AM, I'll smoke half a joint to get me back to sleep.

Yeah, in my younger days I could hang past midnight with the best of them, but now, I don't see the need to do that. I'm not a clubbing person and don't "hang out" so I'm pretty much a home-body.
