Getting older..........at wal-mart.

I was never that young-minded, I was pretty mature from high-school, although as my children approach their teen years, i did my damnest to hear and understand where young minded people were, after all, about 10 - 20 belong to me ( kids, nieces, grands, etc...). I said that to say, I've been sorta in the background of their lives for about 10 years, which i really couldnt fight, lest i go to jail for beating one of them. lol so my nest is somewhat lighter now and i was able to take a trip to the store on my own time....

However, as i looked at the people who were older i began to wonder about all the different couples, families, single people, single mothers and i wondered where i fit in. Although i knew them all, i didnt see myself in any of them per se. But at the same time i realize i am approaching where they already are, in age, in mentality...etc.

will i be able to keep up??? Will i just be a lame wall-flower?? how do i begin to

girl, those is some serious life questions....eek

keep it simple...my silent life motto is make others happy

Our own kids are older now (15 and 13) and we are rediscovering our independence.

The days of dragging them along are over and it does take getting re-used to it.

I feel ya.

Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

That was deep...now I'm thinking that by my age most women have children and/or are married or divorced...my friends seem much more involved with their children as they get older and have little time for their single friends..maybe I'm also going to be a lame wallflower...? hrmph

Don't ask me why.
