^^ That's not what you said. lol I'm quite certain you actually know what you said and how it would be insulting.

Hey, I did not mean it as an insult. I like genesia. Breaking balls is part of my nature, my culture. I hardly think what I said was offensive.

Nothing personal, but if that's truly the case then you don't know women very well. lol It's been entertaining, though, so please continue. nod

I'm not a jester and you're not a king. And I wouldn't tar all women with the same brush either.

Please, make sense. lol Suit yourself. I actually cringed when I read your post before she had even responded.

That wasn't a compliment and you know it. Now blow.

Knowing Number23 (in a limited, online sort of way) it sounded to me like he was sincerely trying to pay you a compliment.

It's what you make it.

To be honest, I needed it. I didn't feel very good about my opening night performance. And when I heard there was a reviewer in the house, I wanted to puke...and then cry.

They even mentioned me in the review...

"[Genesia] has the unique challenge of playing two roles, an American actress and a British clerk, but she differentiates them well, bringing a sense of history to characters we only briefly meet. Everyone's accents are surprisingly strong, but [Genesia's] is particularly good."

RP with a hint of Estuary.

I can't remember the last time I did a show without any accent, at all. In the last six years, I've done British (Midlands, Estuary, RP, and Cockney), Mexican, Russian, German, American Southern (just a generic southern - no regional influence), Brooklyn, and Northern Wisconsin.

If a part calls for an accent, I'm always in the running for it. lol

That's excellent!

Knowing how harsh critics can be, that must have sent you way past puke-and-cry.

There is one critic in town who has never liked me in anything I've done - even when others have. Now I know she's just a bitch. lol
