I'm listening to it at work...good stuff.
Just one thing, ernest...that "small town" mentality you talked about is alive and well in the NY metro area. The only difference between NY and the south is folks here are sneaky about their ignorance. Don't be fooled by NYC's diversity - we have our fair share of gay-bashing and hate crimes too. I'm sure you're aware of the Muslim cabbie who was slashed and the recent string of hate crimes against Mexicans on Staten Island. Same shit, different day. |
