This is an AMAZING article.......falling 39 Stories and still alive!!!! Thats a long way down...I wonder what he was thinking before he hit the bottom--he landed on a car.

It was a suicide attempt so perhaps he was thinking "Aw damn....I'm still here...." as they pulled his contorted body from the car...and yes...he was conscious and screaming!!!

Well, I don't quite take that position. I think there are certain things we don't control, for better or worse.

I was struck by this. I'm not one who agrees suicide is in all cases an act of wanton selfishness. But the way this guy chose to attempt it speak volumes about his regard for anyone but himself. Stunning.

If by being "over it," he means he's out of the strength to live, I certainly hope he gains some, because I see a significant call to accountability coming his way... and I suspect many folk will be watching him like a hawk so that he doesn't have the luxury of permanently checking out without some real cunning in doing so.

What is ever weirder is that he is a recent college grad....wonder if all of those loans have him all freaked out.....i mean really......he should be over wanting to off himself.

People dont usually get a second chance. I wonder if its mandatory that he be institutionalized after something like this.

^ Or if he survives those injuries, and gets his second chance in life, he may want to rethink how he may have treated some people before the accident.
