I replied to both of them and pinkerbella@att.net responds by berating my 'ex' for forwarding the message and then says sorry to me. W-T-F?
It may not be the most generous attitude, but my vengeful self hopes her action wreaks as much damage on her relationship with him as it did to mine. How uncouth, insensitive and manipulative to deliberately share that thread with him. I was motivated to protect his feelings, and the impact of my words cannot be pretty. I am sorry about it and a fool to think this was a private, anonymous space. |

You know what? This kind of thing pisses me off to the umpteenth degree! Not YOU, but the whole concept of havnig to worry about what we say all the time.
It's BULLshit!!! Bullshit I tell ya!
I've thought about this while launching a business. I know my posts are traceable.
I've decided that at some point I've got to quit giving a shit about what people think or figuring that folk who can't deal with my "ways" are just maybe not meant to be a part of my life.
I'm sorry this whole internet thing complicated things for ya.
I feel you on that one!!
If any of my clients were to discover some of the stuff I post online the experience would be...
JARRING!!!

To be perfectly honest, who doesn't know NOT to post stuff on the internet they don't want people to see? There is no privacy on here.
Oh, quit being so sensible. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves. |

That is what orgnotes are for. If I ever start a thread about something really personal, throw a brick at me. |

So it finally had to happen. My org life collided with my real life.
My 'ex' read my thread about exes. I think he has a new girlfriend and she was snooping me out on the internet, found the thread, and forwarded it to him. I have no idea how she found it or why. She was probably successful in destroying my relationship with him, which until recently has been quite strong. That probably was her intention.
I've been in a lot of pain over this all day.
I see so many of you share intimate details about your lives and relationships. How do you do it without hurting others?
The world is too transparent now. Everyone is on the internet, social networking, etc.
I think I will be deleting my account. Will it delete all the history? Sad because I have made so many good friends here, and been able to have honest conversations for six years. I don't know how I'll replace that.
yeah, that's scary! i know i have family members that lurk my posts. which i think is pretty weird! and ex-boyfriends that lurk my posts too, which i think is REALLY freaking crazy! |

Honestly, that ex thread was more about a frustration with my lack of a dating life than it was about him.
well, there goes a friendship shot to hell |

sometimes it's not necessarily a good thing to remain close with exes, and it's best to cut the proverbial umbilical cord between you. Besides, relationships have seasons, and maybe this was the season for you all to part ways for good while you concentrate on making new friends and fresh starts. |

I posted a lot about personal things here, maybe too much. But yes the most personal things that I don't want anybody to know are only shared in orgnotes with a seleceted few friends.
But it is weird for me to know that people who I know in RL and who are Prince fans sometimes read here. That happeend with I think 3 people at least. One didn't have any contact with me in some years and the first thing he heard about me again was a thread by Dave1992 that was dedicated to me about sex during your period. I felt pretty weird when I heard about that and was wondering what an impression that must have been.
