For all the soccer fanatics!: Who are your favorite soccer players?

(Based on soccer skills not as in who is cute!) biggrin

Ok here is my list:

  1. Chicharito Hernandez (was five rows away from him behind the gaolie @ the MLS vs Manchester game. The guy NEVER turned around to greet people... but whatever) pout
  2. Landon Donovan
  3. Diego Forlan dancing jig
  4. Kaka
  5. Ronaldinho
  6. Mesut Ozil (legend in the making!) nod
  7. Thomas Muller
  8. Gabriel Heinze
I really like spicy food. I mostly put Jalapenos on a lot of my food.

i call it soccer too, one of our national games is Gaelic Football, so it saves confusion.

as a massive Liverpool fan, i've got to say Torres (providing he stays fit)

and xabi Alonso is brilliant too.

First of all, it's called football.

Chicharito has a long way to go, but he has great potential.

Why would a professional turn around in a game to greet the fans?

My favourite football players of all time are:

Eric Cantona

Paul Scholes

George Best

David Beckham

I did, but Sky have a huge American contingent among their customers that would be mighty puzzled if anybody called a sport in which you play a ball with your foot "football", as it might even lead suicide attempts out of frustration and overall confusion.

Ottensen

I became completely enamoured of all the new youngins' who made up our German team for the World Cup. They were all energetic and just outstanding. Unfortunately a host of better funded first league clubs across Europe have snatched them all up and they've left mad . Now I got bupkus. confused

I'd call a saved penalty, control of most passes played in that game and still only a draw as a result rather unlucky!
