so i just went to see the movie Eat Pray Love [SPOILERS]

with Julia Roberts. I think it just opened Friday the 13th.

Anyway, hadn't read the book but my friend asked if I would be into seeing it and I agreed to go.

We were both confused at the ENDING.

How could she have done all that self-searching and still decide to do what she did?

I felt like the movie was very long, but it was little over two hours.

The music in it was good. shrug

Has anyone read the book other than CarrieLee and CarrieMpls?

I had planned to see this movie and as of yesterday decided it would be a waste of my money to go see it. But I figure it's not the type you want to buy on dvd that you can play over and over and not get sick of it.

I like Julia Roberts in comedies smile

Judging from the previews I thought this movie looks interesting...but I don't think I actually want to pay money to go see it though.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Yeah I can't say that the sound or cinematography demanded a theatre viewing.

However, have you seen the other shit playing lately?

Like, oh great advice, why didn't she make that leap before?

Yeah, I felt so empty with that ending. Like her whole voyage was just merely some extended vacation, not to find herself, but just to find a new boyfriend...but maybe I'm just being too cold, and not romantic enough these days lol

If you will, so will I

Why NOT have that "love affair in Bali" with the hot guy at the party then? Ykno??

Don't get me wrong, it is a good movie. Even had me tearing up cry at one point.

I just didn't "get" the ending.

No it was the re-imagined fantasy about how her first wedding dance should have gone
